Kat Graham Named Empower 54's International Goodwill Ambassador

The 27-year-old Vampire Diaries actress was among many others at the event where Martin Scorsese was honored with the Entertainment Icon Award.

It was just announced recently that Kat has been appointed as the International Goodwill Ambassador for aid organization Empower 54.

Empower 54 is an organization, who has been on the ground in Nigeria working to find and bring relief directly to malnourished children, displaced families and refugees from all over the country.

As goodwill Ambassador for Empower 54, Kat will help bring awareness to the initiative, participate in on-the-ground missions in the West African nation, and will also help in their ongoing fundraising efforts.
