Musical.ly stars hang with president Alex Hoffman on the newest cover of Billboard magazine.

Jacob Sartorius, Baby Ariel and Dani and Deven Perkins open up about their rise to fame along with the lip-syncing app. Check it:

Jacob on living his dreams: “When I go back to my hotel room every night, I think about how thankful I am to be doing what I’ve always dreamed of,”

Baby Ariel on how she was never searching for fame: “Oh, gosh, that has never been on my mind,” she says through a loud chortle that belies the confidence she projects on camera. “I didn’t know that people did social media for a living. I didn’t have any of those ambitions.”

Dani and Deven Perkins and on being addicted to the app: “We just keep making Musical.lys. It’s like we’re addicted,” says Dani. And if they took a week off? “Ohhh,” says Deven, a bit horrified. “They’ll think we’re dead!”
