Patrick Schwarzenegger & Bella Thorne's Film 'Midnight Sun' Set for 2017 Release

It was recently announced (via Deadline) that Open Road Films has acquired the rights to Patrick‘s upcoming film with Bella Thorne, Midnight Sun, set to be released on July 14, 2017.

The romantic drama tells the story of a teenage girl (Bella) with a life-threatening sensitivity to sunlight, but her life changes when she embarks on a summer romance with a new friend (Patrick) she meets one night.

The cast also includes Rob Riggle and Quinn Shephard.

“We were swept off our feet by this romantic film,” Open Road CEO Tom Ortenberg said. “The movie had men and women – young and old – in tears, and we could tell immediately how strongly this story, and the fantastic performances by leads Bella and Patrick, would resonate with audiences of all ages.”
