Laurie Hernandez‘s trophy shelf is going to be pretty full after the amazing year she’s had!
After winning Dancing With The Stars, the 16-year-old gymnast made an appearance on Good Morning America, where she compared her Olympic and DWTS victories.
“It felt amazing. I had that same joy as I had at the Olympics. It was such an accomplishing moment. It was exciting. I’m so grateful,” Laurie explained.
Her partner Val Chmerkovskiy added, “To see that in a young person is very inspiring for anybody. She’s really special, and I wanted to do a good job for her, and I hope I did.”
