Celebs are starting to reflect on the past year over social media.

Stars like Olivia Holt, Nastia Liukin, Joey Bragg, Zoella, Keke Palmer, and many more have shared messages of looking back on 2016 and hoping that 2017 will be better as a whole for everyone.

“Honestly – idk if it’s the era, the city, the age, my career or what. But this year really showed me how opportunistic people can be,” Keke reflected on her Instagram. “Everyone that’s around you isn’t around you to hurt you or love you, to be a friend or an enemy, some are literally just doing whatever JUST IN CASE.”

She adds, “Actions, actions never lie and one can make a habit out of being inconsistent. If people can’t be definite in why they want to be in your life, that means they only coming to you to TAKE not give. If you the kind of person that will treat me differently depending on how poppin’ I am at the time, stay tf away from me. God bless all the plastic mfs I’m leaving behind in 2016 #YouCantComeWhereImGoing.”

A moment of reflection on a year that was not easy in the biggest and even the smallest of ways. It kinda kicked my a$$ I won't lie, but the lessons I've learned I'll take with me for the rest of my life. As I practiced my gratitude exercise and turned my perception on many things tears came to my eyes. I have lived in the biggest cities, been in the most seemingly fulfilling relationships and have had a pretty decent version of society's form of success and all throughout I have felt the deepest pang of loneliness. In a room full of people I've remained completely alone. Today I'm choosing to leave my overwhelming sense of loneliness in 2016. I don't want it to be a part of my story anymore. I want the love I feel in my heart to no longer remain enslaved. Today I want to set it free. My reflection told me that I have been deeply lonely because I'm scared of my capacity to love. I'm scared that it won't be returned. I release that fear today and begin 2017 with as open a heart as I can muster. Today I unlock my chains of loneliness and set my love free.

It's been 9 months since my concussion and I am still healing. Our mind is a very powerful and gentle beast. This year was a challenge learning how to continue to work, while also relearning who I was, how to function, and how to find the light. Haven't talked about it much but I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for being there and showing me my purpose. I was able to continue to release my Ep, and direct videos because of your support. It gave me strength to push through. Next year I'm excited to continue to heal, release my first album, tell more stories and tour to see you all in person. We are gaining momentum and being 'heard'. I love you all very much. We must let our life experiences transform us so we can match the circumstances, and rise to be even better than before. Watch out world, we are coming to tell our story. Xx #BYE2016
