EXCLUSIVE: Maia Mitchell's Dishes on the Possibility of Callie & Brandon Getting Back Together

The season premiere of The Fosters last night was jam-packed with drama.

Right before the show aired, we jumped on the phone with Maia Mitchell, who plays Callie Jacob.

In addition to giving us serious scoop on the season, which you can read all about here, she answered JJJ fans’ biggest question: Any chance Callie and Brandon will get back together some day?

Maia‘s answer: Nope! And here’s why:

“I think the dynamics between Brandon and Callie are always evolving and always changing,” she said. “I don’t see it being romantic again, just because they’ve done so much work on squashing that. At the foundation of their relationship, there is always friendship, so no matter what it looks like, they are always going to respect each other a lot and support each other. Even if they can’t be in each other’s lives in a really strong way, they are always going to be there for each other.”

Last night’s episode took Brandon even further away from that possibility as he hooked back up with Cortney.

Of course, you never know what the show’s writers have in store, but it sounds like that door is closed.
