China Anne McClain Dishes On Sword Fighting For 'Descendants 2'

There are just a handful of months left until we see China Anne McClain as Uma in Descendants 2!

The actress stars as the daughter of Ursula in the sequel film, and will be singing a version of “Poor Unfortunate Souls” for the flick — but that’s not what we want to know. We want to know about the sword fighting!

“The sword fighting is one of the hardest parts of this entire production. For all of the rehearsals, all of us were like, ‘Okay, next is sword training. Let’s get ready,’” she shared in a new BTS look at the TV movie.

China adds, “It’s tough. It’s different than dancing and it’s unnatural for the body if you’re not used to it you get tired out very quickly.”
