'Born In China's Mei Mei is All You'll Need To Celebrate National Panda Day

The stars of DisneyNature’s Born in China were just introduced — and their names are Ya Ya and Mei Mei!

DisneyNature decided to celebrate National Panda Day by showing off their two Panda stars in the upcoming film, which hits theaters on April 21st.

Born in China follows the stories of three animal families — a doting panda bear mother guides her growing baby as she begins to explore and seek independence; A two-year-old golden snub-nosed monkey who feels displaced by his new baby sister joins up with a group of free-spirited outcasts.

Don’t forget the mother snow leopard, who faces the very real drama of raising her two cubs in one of the harshest and most unforgiving environments on the planet.

When you see Born in China during its’ opening week, Disneynature will make a donation in your honor to World Wildlife Fund to benefit wild pandas and snow leopards.
