SABRINA BRYAN – SEASON 5

In season 5, Sabrina Bryan came on the program and even before she set foot on the dance floor, we knew she was going to be amazing. Why? She was a Cheetah Girl.

Partner Mark Ballas said although she was already a favorite, ballroom dancing was not her specialty at all.

“[I]n the beginning, when I first met her, she was clueless,” he said. “She could stand with her knees bent and go ‘Yeah, yeah, boom, boom, hip hop.’ But as far as having your feet turned out properly, your hair in a wonderful beehive hairdo and a ballroom gown with feathers at your feet? She didn’t know how to do that. It’s a totally different kettle of fish.”

She worked hard every week for her performances and it showed.

“I’ve never worked with someone who wanted it so bad and was clinging onto every word I said. And so for me, it was frustrating because she worked so hard. It got very personal,” Mark said, after they were voted off early in the competition.
