Nick Jonas To Receive Hero Award at Radio Disney Music Awards 2017!

Congrats to Nick Jonas!

The singer/actor is going to pick up a huge honor at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards next month.

Nick‘s philanthropic work with the Type 1 diabetes community is a huge reason for the honor, and since being diagnosed with the illness at 13, he’s been giving back through Beyond Type 1, a non-profit organization he co-founded.

Beyond Type 1 “leverages the power of social media and technology” to facilitate “funding for research, education, advocacy” and other programs to improve quality of life for those battling the disease.

His Jumanji co-star Jack Black will present Nick with the award on April 29th.
