Abigail Breslin Calls Working on 'Dirty Dancing' Remake 'Magical'
Abigail Breslin wouldn’t trade anything for her time filming the Dirty Dancing remake.
That’s definitely the impression you get when the actress, who plays lead Frances “Baby” Houseman in the TV special, talks about it.
“It was the most magical work experience I’ve ever had,” Abigail shared with Out magazine. “Everybody in it is so incredible. The whole cast loved each other, and I think that really comes across onscreen.”
There was one cast member she was particularly close to: Debra Messing.
“[She] plays my mom, and I still talk to her every day and call her for advice. She’s such a gracious soul,” Abigail says.
Dirty Dancing will premiere in May on ABC.
