Sasha Pieterse Opens Up About Why Alison 'Feels Defeated' on 'PLL' Right Now

Alison is currently dealing with a lot on Pretty Little Liars – and not just with her pregnancy.

Sasha Pieterse recently opened up about why Alison’s not in the best head space.

“She’s not in a good place right now,” Sasha told TVLine.com. “She’s bitter, and I don’t blame her. Like she said in [last week's] episode, she doesn’t have any real memories with the person she thought she loved – it was all a lie. She feels like a lot of her life is a lie, and much as she’d like for that to not be so, there are certain things she can’t change around her. She’s a little defeated right now.”

Sasha added, “I got to be grumpy all the time. This is an extra-hormonal Alison, which can only mean bad things. She’s going to be more temperamental than ever!”

Pretty Little Liars airs Tuesdays @ 8/7c on Freeform.
