Hannah Baker Will Be Part of the Story for '13 Reasons Why' Season Two

While a second season of 13 Reasons Why hasn’t actually been confirmed, things are looking good for the hit Netflix show — and Hannah Baker is still going to be a part of it.

The 13 episodes (which are streaming on Netflix now) weren’t the end for her at all, even though we saw Hannah take her own life.

“One of the things that is a fundamental element of our show is the weaving of past and the present,” Brian Yorkey shared with THR.

He adds, “Hannah’s story is still very much not finished. She’s an integral part of whatever the next chapter of the story is, and she’s very much still at the center of it.”

Actress Katherine Langford agrees, saying, “there’s definitely more story to tell. It would be cool to continue the dialogue of this story. There are so many cliffhangers at the end of the season.”
