'The Fosters' Season Five Will Focus On 'Brighter & Happier' Times For The Family
We are less than two months away from The Fosters return on Freeform and JJJ really wants to know more about what’s going to happen.
In an interview with EW, showrunner Peter Paige teased just a little bit about where we pick up from — bonus, there’s NO time jump!
“Every one of those stories are in a moment of utter and complete crisis, so we are literally coming back three seconds after the finale ends,” he says.
Peter is referring to Callie going into a deep into a sex trafficking ring, Jude’s relationship with Noah, Jesus’ injury and relationship with Emma; and let’s not forget about Mariana and her Gossip Girl-like Twitter account.
Peter also adds that season five will kind of be calmer than season four was.
“Season 5 is a little bit of a reset to our family, our home, and the sort of simpler and brighter and happier times that our family really needs.”
We’ll take it!
Peter, along with stars Teri Polo, Sherri Saum, Hayden Byerly and Cierra Ramirez are pictured at the 2017 Evening to Foster Dreams Gala in Los Angeles this week.
