A big anniversary just happened this past weekend for fan-favorite seriesThe Fosters!
Co-creator, writer, executive producer, director Bradley Bredeweg shared on social media that it has been 10 years since the first day of filming the ABC Family / Freeform series.
The hit show premiered on June 3, 2013 and ended June 6, 2018 after five seasons.
It followed a multi-ethnic family with a mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms. Stef Foster, a dedicated police officer, and her partner Lena Adams, a school Vice Principal, have built a strong family with Stef’s biological son from a previous marriage, Brandon, and their adopted twins, Mariana and Jesus. Their lives are turned upside down when Lina meets Callie, a teen with an abusive past who has spent her life in foster homes. Lena and Stef decide to welcome Callie into their home thinking it will be temporary.
“I can’t believe I’m about to type these words: TEN YEARS AGO on this very day #TheFosters was born! I’ve never been more proud of anything in my life,” he wrote on Saturday (November 5).
Some of the stars of both The Fosters and it’s spinoff Good Trouble took to the comments to react.
The 29-year-old actress will be starring in the upcoming movie Spread, which is currently in production, Deadline reveals.
“Thrilled to finally announce this exciting, insane project we’ve been working on! My stomach muscles hurt from laughing at our brilliantly funny cast every day. Can’t wait for you all to see it! 💋,” Elizabeth shared on Instagram.
Noticeably missing is Noah Centineo‘s Jesus. Last we saw him was on a video call at Christmas as he was in India with Emma.
If you remember, in the “A Very Coterie Christmas” episode, Jude and Carter actually shared a kiss, and based off of these first look photos from tonight’s ep, it looks like they might be in a relationship.
Tune in to Good Trouble TONIGHT (March 10) at 10pm ET/PT on Freeform to find out what happens and why Connor is back!

A new teaser clip for the upcoming third season ofGood Trouble was just released and you won’t believe who is back – Connor!
In the clip, Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) and Callie (Maia Mitchell) head home for a bit of a family reunion for Brandon (David Lambert) and Eliza’s (Megan West) going away party before they move to Amsterdam.
“The episode is Brandon and Eliza’s going-away party,” executive producer Joanna Johnson told TV Line. She also shared the party has “a lot of fun surprises” with “a lot of humor, because we always love to have fun with our Foster family.”
The biggest shock of all though, so far, is Connor’s return. While we don’t know the context of his return, we are so excited to see him back. The last time we’ve seen Connor, aka Gavin Macintosh, was back in season three of The Fosters.
Although, Brandon and Eliza seem to have a secret as well, so we can’t wait to find out what’s going on!
Also featured in the episode, which is the fourth of the season, are Eliza’s parents Walter (Robert Gant) and Diane (Susan Walters), Brandon’s moms Stef (Teri Polo) and Lena (Sherri Saum), Jude (Hayden Byerly) and of course, Eliza’s brother and Callie’s ex Jamie (Beau Mirchoff).
Good Trouble‘s season three will premiere TOMORROW (February 17) on Freeform.
Teri Polo and Sherri Saum, who play Stef and Lena Adams Foster, dished on the previously filmed reunion, and the table read.
In case you missed the news, not only will the whole Adams Foster clan be reuniting, but they will also take part in a table read of the show’s pilot episode.
Though Noah Centineo didn’t join the show until season three, the moms dished on him reading the part of Jesus from that first episode, which was originally played by Jake T Austin.
“It felt very different. But whenever a new actor embodies a role, it’s going to be his or her own so that’s to be expected,” Sherri told People. “But Noah’s such an incredible talent and such a natural actor, and we all love him and he loves us, so that came through on top of everything else. He fit right into that glove right with us.”
“I was like, wait, what? Someone else played that part in the beginning? I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Teri joked.
The Fosters reunion will premiere on People.com and EW.com on Thursday evening (July 16) at 8pm ET/5pm PT!
