Maddie Ziegler Is Happy That She Left 'Dance Moms'

Maddie Ziegler has been gone from Dance Moms for what seems like forever, and she’s not looking back.

Speaking with Seventeen mag in her June/July cover story, the dancer and actress opened up about leaving the show behind.

“The show was a really stressful time — I just didn’t want to deal with all of the drama anymore,” she explains about leaving it. “I’m happy I’ve moved on.”

Maddie adds that since leaving the show, she’s gotten to do so many amazing things.

“I get to step out and do my own thing and be myself,” Maddie says. “But I am thankful for the experience, and I miss dancing with the girls.”
