Tyrel Jackson Williams' New Show Is Nothing Like 'Lab Rats'

You may know Tyrel Jackson Williams as Leo Dooley on Lab Rats — but today, you may not even recognize him.

The actor has got a new show out called Brockmire, and it’s nothing like Lab Rats at all.

“The show is about a fictional baseball announcer named Jim Brockmire who has a mental breakdown live on the air one day when he finds out his wife has been cheating on him,” Tyrel explains to HuffPo’s The Tea newsletter. “So he disappears for ten years and comes back to America in an attempt to ride back to his former stardom.”

When he returns, it’s Tyrel‘s character Charles, who helps him out.

“I’m kind of the social media expert for the stadium so I try to help him rise back to fame in the new modern age,” he adds.

Tyrel also revealed just what kind of transition it was for him to come from a Disney show, to this.

“A lot of child actors don’t make that transition, so I’m thankful that I have the opportunity and that I’ve been able to get such an interesting role.”
