Bella Thorne Says That She Used to Be 'Tone Deaf' Before Vocal Training

Bella Thorne has been enjoying the success of her new single with Prince Fox, “Just Call,” (listen here) — and in a new interview, she opens up about just how far she has come as a musician.

“When I first started singing, I was tone deaf,” the 19-year-old Famous in Love actress told Us Weekly. “I was terrible! And then you get it right, you fix it up, you do this, you do that, and – boom! – you got yourself a song! You put some EDM beats in there and wow.”

We don’t know that we would call her early music “terrible,” but she has gone for a totally different sound with her new music that seems to suit her voice well.

Bella has been spending a ton of time working on new music, and she has already recorded six new songs. We can’t wait to hear more of her new sound!
