Taylor Swift Was Present for Jury Selection in Case Against Radio DJ

Taylor Swift is not afraid to back down when it comes to something she believes in and she made sure to have her presence known during the jury selection process of her case against a radio DJ in Denver.

The 27-year-old singer was sitting in the courtroom on Monday (August 7) while the lawyers screened possible members of the jury. A group of 60 people will be narrowed down to eight.

Taylor filed a lawsuit against radio DJ David Mueller, who she accused of groping her back in 2013. He was also in attendance in the courtroom, according to the Associated Press.

Some of the questions that the jury had to answer were, “Have you ever considered yourself a fan of Taylor Swift?” and if they had ever listened to Taylor‘s music on the radio, watched any of her videos, read about her, purchased one of her albums, intentionally listened to her on a music service, or gone to one of her concerts.

The jury selection process will continue on Tuesday and a total of eight jurors will be selected from a pool of 60 candidates.
