'Teen Wolf' Showrunner Admits He Was Hesitant To Reveal Scott & Malia's Relationship

Even if you’re not the biggest fan of the Scott and Malia pairing on Teen Wolf, you have to admit that their moments on last weekend’s episode were really, really hard to look away from.

In the episode, we saw Malia attempting to take away Scott’s pain and the moment was actually really powerful.

“I was hesitant to do it at first,” executive producer Jeff Davis shared with TVLine. “We actually tested the waters between them in a scene in Episode 609. [Tyler and Shelley] were both up for the challenge.”

He also knows how the fans are responding to the new relationship, too.

“The idea of there being one true love for everyone is nice, but it’s not realistic. Things happen in life that bring people together in unexpected ways. We’re big fans of going for the unexpected.”
