Karan Brar Didn't Really Plan To Go Into Acting

Karan Brar‘s life changed in just over an instant, thanks to his big screen debut in The Wimpy Kid movies.

Since starring as Chirag, he’s went on to charm us as Ravi on Jessie and Bunk’D — but believe or not, this wasn’t really his plan at all.

“When I had originally gone on Wimpy Kid, I’d just done the movies on my summer break and would come back home to Seattle for a regular school year,” he revealed to Prune magazine.

Karan continues, “I thought that would be my life, being an actor on the side as well but staying in Seattle and going to college at Washington State University and living life there.”

“By accident, I ended up in Los Angeles booking Jessie and was like ‘wow’ this is going somewhere. From that point forward, I was in it to win it, and now I push myself to bigger heights � wherever that may be.”

We’re glad it did work out. What would life be without Karan in it?
