Lily Collins has paid tribute to the late Princess Diana on Instagram, commemorating her untimely passing 20 years ago.

“20 years ago today we lost a true princess,” the Last Tycoon actress writes. “I’m so honored that I was able to meet her as a little girl, a moment I’ll never forget.”

She adds, “Today we remember #PrincessDiana and celebrate her legacy…”

Lily used the exact picture that she once referenced about meeting Princess Diana.

“There are photos of me giving Princess Diana flowers and then trying to take them back from her,” she told Vanity Fair.
