Keke Palmer Set for Recurring Role in Season 2 of 'Star'

Keke Palmer will have a crazy busy schedule this year!

The 23-year-old actress and singer is slated to play Gigi, a “ratchet and rich” recording artist on the second season of the Fox show Star, Deadline reports.

If you haven’t seen it, Star follows three ambitious singers navigating the music business, and we can’t wait to see what Keke‘s hilarity and acting chops (not to mention her stunning singing voice) bring to the show.

This new role reunites her with Queen Latifah, who Keke starred with in Akeelah & The Bee and the Ice Age movies.
