Bea Miller's New Song 'S.L.U.T.' Was Inspired By An Instagram Hater

Let’s be real here, Bea Miller‘s ‘S.L.U.T.’ jumped to the top of your playlist and you can’t seem to get it off repeat, right? Because that’s exactly what happened to us.

The song was actually inspired by an Instagram hater.

Wearing a bodysuit, with no bra, and a white skirt on a hot day at the studio, Bea posted a cute pic on her Instagram.

“It was hot, and I wasn’t wearing a bra, which I thought was perfectly acceptable,” she shared, noting, “I have little baby boobs.” That’s when troll online called her a slut.

Bea remembers, “I lost it. I was ranting and ranting. How could a girl tell another girl not to wear a bra? Women should support each other…and I don’t understand what the problem is with nipples.”

The acronym for the song title came from a post on Urban Dictionary, and means “Sweet Little Unforgettable Thing”.

“I thought, that’s amazing, and we wound up writing a fantastic song that was also a cool and funny response to this girl.”
