Niall Horan Already Has His Bags Packed For One Direction's Reunion

Niall Horan is looking back on his time with One Direction in a brand new feature with The Times.

The “Flicker” singer, who is currently on his Flicker Sessions tour, opened up about always being ready for that reunion with the group and how different it does feel to be up on stage solo.

“If it comes tomorrow, I have my bag packed,” Niall says. “If I have to wait till I’m 60, so be it. I’m serious. We’ll be like the Eagles and never stop.”

He adds that being on tour with the group versus just him is different, especially when he’s playing songs that none of his fans know just yet.

“With 1D, the screaming didn’t stop. We’d all run around and there was always some explosion going off or prop coming on. Now, I just stand there thanking God for my guitar. When I put that down, I haven’t a clue what to do with my hands.”

Niall continues, “I wanted to watch people’s reaction [to the unknown songs]. They don’t know the lyrics, so they can’t sing along. I’m forcing them to listen.”

“That means playing to a relatively quiet crowd, which is spooky. I miss the comfort blanket of being in a band.”
