Sabrina Carpenter's Dad Gave Her a Shirt For Christmas That She Never Wears

Jordan Fisher shared his big Christmas mix up earlier today and now it’s Sabrina Carpenter‘s turn.

For Music Choice‘s new series, Sounds of the Seasons Live, the “Why” songstress remembered the one time her dad tried to get her a meaningful gift, but it wasn’t quite the gift she was expecting.

“My dad was trying to be so nice and so considerate, and he was trying to get me clothes, because he’s like ‘You’re a teenager now, you want clothes. You don’t want toys,’” she shared. “He got me a t-shirt that said ‘Be nice or go away,’ and at that point I like� when I say I was older, it was last year, and I was like I wouldn’t wear that shirt dad.”

However, Sabrina does admit that she’s never really been showered with Christmas gifts either, and that’s okay.

“I have a lot of sisters, so like, our presents, we’ve never gotten like a ton of presents,” she says. “It’s always like we’ll get a couple really cool things, and then you know, like, I cherish my guitar and instruments that I’ve gotten for Christmas.”
