Shawn Mendes Already Has 25 Songs Written For Album #3

When Shawn Mendes went away for a while to work on album #3, he wasn’t playing around — in fact, he already has a mountain of songs from it!

Speaking with Zach Sang recently, the “Mercy” musician revealed that while he has a story arc in mind for the album, he isn’t giving away any secrets.

“You’ll have to wait for the album, I can’t give away the stories of the album,” Shawn shared. “We have like 25 songs, so ya, we have tons and I’m hoping to get another 25 at least.”

Shawn also added that he was looking for a challenge with his next album.

“It’s really hard, you find what people like and you’re like, should I do that again or should I try and come up with the better thing. It has to be somewhere in the middle.”
