Forever In Your Mind Where The 'Euphoric' EP Title Actually Came From

Forever in Your Mind debuted their new EP, Euphoric, earlier this month — and many of us are wondering just where the title came from.

Speaking with Vulkan magazine in a new feature, the guys — Ricky Garcia, Emery Kelly and Liam Attridge — revealed all!

“Emery had recently done some interviews where he described his time on his Netflix show as ‘euphorically detrimental,’ they explained. “It was a running joke for a while because that phrase kept coming up a lot.”

“So, about 15 minutes prior to performing [and announcing the title] on the Today Show, we said ‘what about Euphoric?’ and it kind of just worked.”

FIYM also chatted about the sound of the EP and how it’s shaping their upcoming music.

“It has a more mature sound than what fans are used to,” the band said. “We changed it up a lot with ‘Rabbit Hole’ and we think that those are the types of vibes you’ll get with the EP. A lot more influence from other genres like R&B. We grew up and you can hear that in the story telling.”
