Candice Patton Tickled Grant Gustin During Their 'Flash' Chemistry Test

Candice Patton revealed a ton of new secrets about herself and Iris West-Allen from The Flash with Marie Claire — and we’re melting over this one about Grant Gustin.

“In my chemistry test with Grant Gustin, I remember tickling him,” she remembers.

Candice adds, “I’m not really sure why I did that, probably nervousness to be honest, but I definitely did.”

How adorable is that?!

Candice also opens up about how much playing Iris means to her.

“I’m incredibly honored by the impact Iris West has had on so many women and especially women of color,” Candice adds. “I meet so many women around the world who are empowered by seeing a black leading female on a show like The Flash.”

She continues that playing Iris West-Allen (that’s her characters’ name on the call sheets now) has “taught me so much.”

“It’s hard to put into words, but I’ve watched myself grow in confidence and strength over the last four years by being in this position. Thank you, Iris West-Allen.”
