'Riverdale' Showrunner Teases Return Episode With New Pics - See Them All!

The return of Riverdale is looking really, really good — if anything is to be said about showrunner Roberto Aguirre Sacasa‘s teaser pics on Twitter.

The creator has been teasing fans with little sneak peeks of the brand new episode, airing Wednesday on The CW.

“Six more days to our sexiest episode of #Riverdale ever. And I’m NOT just talking about the hot tub scene…” he started out, featuring a pic of Veronica kissing Jughead, much to the dismay of Bughead fans.

He added later, “One of my fave scenes of the series in this week’s #Riverdale. Love the drama, but also love when it’s just friends.”

Roberto also shared pics of Archie and Jughead in the middle of the woods, and Cheryl and Toni Topaz’s first scene together.

In the episode, Veronica and Archie head up to their lake house for the weekend with Betty and Jughead.. Determined to uncover Hiram’s plans for Riverdale, Jughead uses his time at the lake house to press Veronica about what she may know.

Meanwhile, Cheryl makes a surprising connection with an unlikely friend, while Josie lands in hot water after revealing a secret to Kevin.
