Karan Brar Opens Up About How Challenging The 'Pacific Rim: Uprising' Fight Scenes Were For Him (Video)
The last time we saw Karan Brar in a movie, he was a super tiny thing in Diary of a Wimpy Kid!
Now, the 19-year-old actor is now starring in Pacific Rim: Uprising and talking all about how he faced those fight sequences and his hopes for the movie.
“I’m horribly uncoordinated,” he deadpans, before explaining how intimidating his scenes alongside Levi Meaden actually were in a new interview. “I didn’t have it, but it was still really fun. It was mentally challenging just as much as it was physically challenging.”
Not only was he intimidated by doing the fight scenes, being in such a large cast was as well.
“I was really intimidated with how talented everyone was,” Karan shared at the Los Angeles premiere this week. “After the table read, I was like ‘I have a run for my money. I gotta bring my game.”
Karan adds, “Everyone was amazing. This is what I’ve always wanted a film experience to be like, a bunch of people collaborating on something bigger than themselves.”
Pacific Rim: Uprising is out NOW in theaters.
