Olivia Holt & Aubrey Joseph Detail Their Audition For 'Marvel's Cloak & Dagger'

Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph step out for a screening event for their new series, Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger, held at The London Hotel on Thursday night (May 31) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The two stars joined musician Murs, Andre Meadows, director Gina Prince-Bythewood, moderator Joi Childs, and Shadowhunters‘ Isaiah Mustafa at the event, just ahead of the series premiere next week.

In a recent interview with SyFy Wire, Olivia and Aubrey opened up about their audition process, which they both described as long.

“[Gina] pulled a fast one on us and pulled Aubrey out into the hallway [during our audition] and told him that we were going to do an improv scene,” Olivia explained.

Aubrey added that they both really didn’t know what was going on but they “went in and improvised a full scene. By the end of it we were both in tears and it was one of those moments that you never forget. It was the beginning of Cloak and Dagger.”

Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger will premiere Thursday, June 7th on Freeform.
