KJ Apa Dishes On His New Watch Campaign With Fossil

KJ Apa lets out a laugh in his new spotlight video for his new Fossil watch campaign.

Speaking with Teen Vogue about his campaign, the Riverdale actor opened up about how he likes to wear watches just like his father.

“I’ve always loved Fossil. As a kid, my dad used to wear Fossil watches and I was lucky because I sometimes got to snag a few of them,” KJ says.

He adds, “I’ve known about the brand for a long time and when they approached me, I was really excited about it because their thoughts for the campaign were really honest and cool ideas. It worked out perfectly.”

KJ also dished about watches sometimes being obsolete – but he’ll still keep wearing them.

“With phones and stuff now, time is so accessible, so watches now can be purely aesthetic,” KJ shared. “When you want to know the time, you want to be able to check it easily and you want it to be sick looking as well. Fossil is killing it because they’re making watches that are really stylish and simple at the same time.”
