Dove Cameron To Star as Cher in Off Broadway's 'Clueless'

We know what Dove Cameron‘s secret project is!

The 22-year-old actress will star in the Off Broadway musical of Clueless, Deadline reports.

Dove will play Cher, the role originated by Alicia Silverstone on screen.

The new musical version is set for a limited engagement beginning November 20th and running through January 13th.

Based on Jane Austen‘s “Emma” novel, Clueless centers on shallow and rich Cher, who plays matchmaker amongst her peers and teachers. Emboldened by her success, she decides to give a hopelessly klutzy new student a makeover.

But when she becomes more popular than she is, Cher realizes that her disapproving ex-stepbrother was right about how misguided she was — and falls for him.
