KJ Apa Teaches Fans New Zealand Slang Terms

Ever wanted to know exactly what all those New Zealand slang terms actually mean? Well, you’re in luck because KJ Apa is going to teach you.

The Riverdale actor sat down with Vanity Fair and went through a bunch of slang terms like “Chur”, “Yarn”, “Munted”, and “Keen”.

“Keen is actually one of my favorite words. Anyone who knows me knows that I’ve said this word a lot,” he says. “Keen means if I was really into a girl and talking to my mates about that girl, I’d say, ‘I’m really keen for that girl’.”
