Cara Delevingne Talks About the Negative Effects of Comments from Cyberbullies

Cara Delevingne has teamed up with Rita Ora to launch the #IWillNotBeDeleted campaign, which will work to fight cyberbullying.

The gal pals met up to launch the campaign with Rimmel at an event on Tuesday (October 23) in London, England.

“I Will Not Be Deleted” refers to all the photos that people take down from social media accounts after attacks from cyberbullies.

“I can’t imagine what it’s like for teenagers now,” Rita told WWD at the launch. “You get into a black hole. It’s hard not to read every single comment. Nowadays in the entertainment industry with everyone whom we have lost this year over anxiety and bullying, you just don’t know what people are going through.”

“The comments are the things that should be deleted, not the posts. No one should have to change who they are because of someone making a comment. The people who make the comments are the ones who have to change,” Cara added.
