Miley Cyrus Reveals Someone Special Will Join Her For Her SNL Performance of 'Happy Xmas (War is Over)'

Miley Cyrus steps out for an appearance at the SiriusXM Studios on Wednesday night (December 12) in New York City.

The 26-year-old singer opened up during her interview on The Howard Stern Show this morning about her forthcoming SNL performance this weekend.

Miley confirmed that John Lennon‘s son, Sean Ono Lennon, will be joining her and Mark Ronson for their performance of “Happy Xmas (War is Over).”

“It’s just so magic every time we sing it…goosebumps all over the place,” Miley says of the song.

She added, “This song…the way that it is so true to where we are right now and these lyrics of ‘what have we done?’ Are we doing enough, are we actually active? All we do is complain and we don’t actually get out there and do enough in our communities.”

“I think it’s so timely for right now…and for him and I just to kind of be this generation of…we’re the next generation to encourage people to fight for the change we want to see.”
