'Shadowhunters' Fans Launch Own Promo Campaign For Final Season & It's Genius!

The final season of Shadowhunters is almost here and let’s be honest, the promo campaign from Freeform itself, is less than stellar.

A few deleted scenes and a poorly executed “new” poster just aren’t cutting it. Thankfully, the Shadowhunters fans came up with their own campaign for the series, and it’s beyond our wildest dreams. It’s just so, so good!

Three of the largest Shadowhunters update accounts (Basic Shadowhunters Stuff, Shumdario News, and Bane & Lewis) have taken the show’s promotion into their own hands, and are releasing exclusive teasers straight from the cast.

Combining forces at several conventions in Europe over the summer, the campaign recruited Shadowhunters cast members to participate and were each given an index card and wrote a short teaser about their character’s storyline.

Each teaser will be “unlocked” once it reaches a certain number of likes or retweets.

First up is Katherine McNamara, who teased that we can expect Clary’s journey in season 3B to be “bloody, transformative, and shattering.”
