JD McCrary wowed fans with his performance as Young Simba in the new movie The Lion King and now he’s brightening up the day of some young kids!
The 12-year-old actor showed up at the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital to meet with the young patients on Tuesday (August 20) in Los Angeles.
JD joined the kids for a screening of The Lion King and then he sang acoustic versions of “I Just Can’t Wait to be King” and “Hakuna Matata,” as well as his own song “Inviting All of You.”
“Me and My bro @joshmccrary_ had An Amazing time, meeting some Awesome kids @uclamch THEY Truly Inspire ME ðŸ™ðŸ½ðŸ˜‡,” JD wrote on his Instagram page.
