Cheryl is getting quite the storyline on Riverdale!

Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has been teasing some horror-themed news about Madelaine Petsch‘s character.

On Tuesday night (September 24), Roberto shared a photo of Cheryl in two different forms.

“The Chimera is coming. #Riverdale 408. Filming this week. 👠💎🔥☠️🍷⭐️,” he captioned the image.

The teaser also featured the word “Chimera” with the definition – “A single organism that’s made up of cells from two or more ‘individuals’ — that is, it contains two sets of DNA due to placental fusion during development.”

Fans freaked out over the tweet, jumping to many different conclusions and theories.

Earlier in the month, Roberto teased another pic of Cheryl with the wording, “Hereditary – It runs in the family.”
