Miley Cyrus Addresses Cody Simpson Kiss & Defends Dating Life

Miley Cyrus wants the freedom to get a “kiss and açai bowl!”

The 27-year-old songstress is defending her dating her life after feeling like she was “slut shamed” for her make out session with longtime friend Cody Simpson.

Miley took to social media to share her thoughts about the situation, noting that successful men rarely face scrutiny for their dating life.

“Men (especially successful ones) are RARELY slut shamed. They move on from one beautiful woman to the next MOST times without consequences. They are usually referenced as ‘legends’, ‘heart throbs’, ‘G’, ‘Ladies Man’ etc…where women are called sluts/wh***s!” Miley wrote in a long note.

Miley continued, “Can’t I just have a kiss and açai bowl?!?!”

She added that in her new life dating as an adult, she refuses to “recluse” and “date from home” which is “not fun” and could put her in a “vulnerable position.”

At the end of her note, Miley simply asked fans to “please not make this awkward for me” and to “get used to her dating” as she enters a new phase in her life.
