Justin Bieber Is Being Sued For Posting A Photo Of Himself on Social Media

Justin Bieber is the latest of a string of celebs being sued for posting photos of themselves on social media, without licensing the photo.

According to E! News, the 25-year-old singer shared a picture of himself and pal Rich Wilkerson in a car back in March and now photographer Robert Barbera has filed a lawsuit for copyright infringement against Justin.

“Robert says that this action arises due to Bieber’s ‘unauthorized reproduction and public display” of the copyrighted photograph, which is owned and registered by Barbera,’” the site reports.

The documents add that “Barbera is the author of the Photograph and has at all times been the sole owner of all right, title and interest in and to the Photograph, including the copyright thereto.”

They also state that Justin did not “license the Photograph” from Robert for his Instagram page, nor did he have Robert‘s “permission or consent to publish” the photo on Instagram.

Earlier last year, Gigi Hadid went through the same thing for sharing an image on her own Instagram.
