Selena Gomez Had a Panic Attack Ahead of AMAs Performance
Just before stepping on stage for her amazing performance at the 2019 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 24), Selena Gomez reportedly had a panic attack.
According to E! News, the 27-year-old singer, who performed her two newest singles “Lose You To Love Me” and “Look at Her Now”, was putting “a lot of pressure” on herself before the performance.
“Selena definitely had anxiety and a panic attack before she went out and was putting a lot of pressure on herself,” a source shared.
Selena has been very open with her struggles with anxiety in the recent past.
After the opening performance though, Selena headed to Instagram to thank her fans for sticking by her side and supporting her in the toughest of times.
“Feels good to be back. Thank you to my entire team and to my fans that stand by me,” she wrote. “All of this is for you and because of you. excited for this chapter #sg2 @amas 💚.”
