Josie Totah To Star In 'Saved By The Bell' Reboot For NBC's Streaming Service Peacock

Josie Totah is heading back to television!

The 18-year-old actress will star in the upcoming reboot of Saved By The Bell, which will air on NBC’s new streaming service Peacock, THR reports.

“Thank you @THR this is truly a dream come true!!!” Josie tweeted.

The new reboot, which will also feature original stars Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley reprising their roles of A.C. Slater and Jessie Spano, explores what happens when California Gov. Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools and proposes the affected students be sent to the highest-performing schools in the state — including Bayside High.

Josie will play Lexi, a beautiful, sharp-tongued cheerleader and the most popular girl at Bayside High who is both admired and feared by her fellow students. She will also serve as a producer.

Josie has previously starred on Champions in 2018 for the network, and Netflix’s No Good Nick.

Congrats Josie Totah on the new role!!
