Disneyland To Open To Non-California Residents In June!

Disneyland just announced some very exciting news!

The original Anaheim, California theme park, along with Disney California Adventure, will soon be able to welcome visitors from out of the state of California.

Disney just revealed that out-of-state residents can begin visiting the parks starting June 15th.

This date coincides with the state of California’s lifting of all COVID restrictions and fully reopening on that same day.

Guests visiting the Disney parks though, will still be required to wear face masks, and will need to secure ticket reservations before they can go. Theme park capacity will remain limited at this time.

Disney also points out that the “State of California strongly recommends that all guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the theme parks.”

June 15th is also the same day that the Disney Paradise Pier hotel will reopen. The Disneyland Hotel will also reopen on July 2nd, while the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has already begun a phased reopening.

If you missed it, the new Avengers Campus land will be opening NEXT Friday (June 4)!

Walt Disney World in Florida has also recently lifted almost all of their COVID restrictions. Masks are no longer required while outdoors at any of the resort parks, although once you get into the line for a ride, you have to put your mask on. It’s also required while going indoors at restaurants and stores, though it’s rumored that that masks altogether will not be required at WDW soon.
