In season two, the East High Wildcats, who are preparing to perform “Beauty and the Beast” as their spring musical, face off against rival school North High to win a prestigious and cutthroat student theater competition. Wigs are snatched, loyalties are tested, and ballads are belted.
The cast – Olivia Rodrigo, Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornett, Sofia Wylie, Larry Saperstein, Julia Lester, Dara Reneé, Frankie Rodriguez, Joe Serafini, Kate Reinders and Mark St Cyr – really stepped up their game this season with some amazing vocals, original songs and their versions of Beauty and the Beast songs.
Fans were also treated to new characters, some of them showing off their musical talents in the series – Derek Hough as Zack, Olivia Rose Keegan as Lily, Roman Banks as Howie, Andrew Barth Feldman as Antoine and Asher Angel as Jack.
