While making an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (August 26), Jimmy asked about the ring and if her boyfriend Shawn Mendes had proposed to her.

“He has not, and I am not engaged,” Camila said.

She then shared that she doesn’t even know what hand is the engagement hand, nor does her mom!

“I swear to god, I don’t know what hand the engagement ring goes on, so sometimes I’ll just like put it on my ring finger,” she continued. “I mean, I’d actually like you to enlighten me—which hand is the engagement hand? Because I don’t know. My parents are married, and they both lost their ring. Literally, my mom couldn’t tell me, either. She could save me from this, but she doesn’t because she doesn’t know, either!”

During her late night appearance, Camila also dished on her upcoming movie debut Cinderella, and how her pup Tarzan inspired the chorus for “Don’t Go Yet.” See her full interview below!
