OlderAnsel Elgort Makes a Rare Return to Social Media to Promote 'West Side Story'
Ansel Elgort is back on Instagram.
The 27-year-old star uploaded his first Instagram in a while on Saturday (September 25) to promote the upcoming West Side Story film.

The stellar cast, legendary production team, all star crew, and world class orchestra constantly inspired us to give our best every day. We are all so excited to share this movie with you!!! With love and immense gratitude ❤️ Ansel,” he captioned a post of the movie’s trailer.
The movie tells the classic tale of fierce rivalries and young love in 1957 New York City. Steven Spielberg directs.
The film was originally supposed to be released in December of 2020, but due to the pandemic, will now be released on December 10, 2021. You can meet the full cast of the highly anticipated film right here.
Ansel has been laying low and out of the spotlight for the past year, after he was accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl back in 2014. He responded to the accusations saying that the relationship was “entirely consensual.” You can read his whole statement here.
