Hawkeye's Fra Fee & Frozen's Jelani Alladin Join 'Beauty & The Beast' Prequel Series!

The upcoming Beauty and the Beast prequel series is adding more stars to it’s cast!

It has recently been announced that both Fra Fee and Jelani Alladin have both been cast, joining Luke Evans, Josh Gad and Briana Middleton.

Fra will be playing Prince Benoit Berlioz, “a childhood friend of Tilly’s who has grown into a handsome, charismatic, confident prince,” according to Deadline.

Jelani has been cast as Jean-Michel – “Charming. Cool. A talented artist who has a quick wit, a sharp intellect, and a fierce independent streak,” Deadline reveals.

Here’s a synopsis: Set in the iconic kingdom of “Beauty and the Beast” years before the Beast and Belle’s epic romance, the series will follow Gaston (Evans) and LeFou (Gad) as they set off with LeFou’s step-sister, Tilly (Middleton), after a surprising revelation from her past comes to light, sending the unlikely trio off on an unexpected journey filled with romance, comedy, and adventure. While the mysteries of the past are uncovered and the dangers of the present grow, old friends and new enemies reveal that this familiar kingdom harbors many secrets.

Fra was most recently seen in the Marvel series Hawkeye on Disney+. Jelani recently starred on The Walking Dead: World Beyond, and has previously worked with Disney as Kristoff in the original Broadway cast of Frozen on Broadway!
