This news aligns with the lifting of mandates for Los Angeles County and CA governor Gavin Newsom saying the state is moving out of the crisis stage of the pandemic.

Though Universal is lifting the mandates, a spokesperson does add that masks will still be strongly recommended in indoor spaces.

Before this, persons five years and older were required to show their full proof of vaccination, 14 days after their final dose, and masks were required in all areas except when eating.

The city of Los Angeles will also be lifting its indoor mask mandate on Friday (March 4) as the city and region move out of the CDC’s “high” level of COVID.
